Early Childhood Educator (German-speaking) · Bilingual Kindergarten

Based in Accra - Full-time

We are looking for a qualified, German-speaking early childhood educator to help us launch and grow our bilingual German and English kindergarten in Accra, opening in 2027.

About the role
As one of our first kindergarten educators, you will help create a warm, structured, and joyful space for children aged 3 to 6. You will plan and lead play-based activities in German, support each child’s early language development, and help shape the daily life of a brand new kindergarten from the ground up.

Who we are looking for

  • A recognised qualification in early childhood education (for example, Erzieherin or equivalent)
  • Strong German, spoken and written
  • Experience working with young children
  • Warmth, patience, and a genuine love of teaching
  • English to communicate easily with families

School Assistant

Based in Accra - Part-time

We are looking for an organised, reliable assistant to support the day to day running of Studyfreunde and keep our learning space ready for joyful lessons.

About the role

  • Run errands such as buying and collecting materials and receiving deliveries
  • Prepare learning materials, including laminating and cutting out resources
  • Keep the classroom tidy, organised, and ready for each lesson
  • Help with other practical tasks around the school as needed

Who we are looking for

  • Organised, reliable, and hands-on
  • Careful and tidy, with an eye for detail
  • Comfortable getting around Accra for errands
  • Friendly, trustworthy, and happy to work around children
  • Good spoken English
