German Playgroups: Deutsche Spielgruppe in Accra
Our German playgroups are a relaxed place for bilingual children and children who are already learning German with us. Through play, songs, stories and shared activities, they can use German naturally and build confidence in the language.
For families looking for a deutsche Spielgruppe in Accra, our playgroups offer children the chance to meet other German-speaking and German-learning children, make friends and experience German as part of everyday life without the pressure of a formal lesson.
When it takes place, and what it costs
The playgroup runs every Saturday from 1pm to 2.30pm at our centre in Airport West, Accra. Children and teenagers from three to seventeen are welcome. Everyone takes part at their own level, so it works for a three-year-old and for a teenager alike.
A single visit costs GHS 150 per child. For children already enrolled in a course at Studyfreunde, the playgroup is included and costs nothing extra.

If your child would rather start with lessons than with the playgroup, our German classes for kids and teens and our early learning groups run through the week in groups of never more than four. Every new learner begins with a free trial lesson.
Community Events: Deutsche Community in Accra
Studyfreunde is more than a place to learn German. Throughout the year, we bring children and families together for special events, creative activities and shared experiences beyond the classroom.
Our events are a chance for deutsche Familien in Accra, bilingual families and families learning German with us to connect, meet others and become part of a growing German-speaking community in Accra.
