About - Our Approach
How we teach
What makes Studyfreunde different is not just what we teach, but how we teach it. Our approach combines structure, clarity, and a supportive learning environment, with a focus on each individual learner. We create space for confident progress, meaningful interaction, and a positive experience of learning.
Lernen mit Freude
Learning with Joy
At Studyfreunde, Lernen mit Freude is more than a concept. It is a core part of how we teach.
We use songs, stories, games, and movement not simply because they are enjoyable, but because they support how children learn best. When learners feel engaged and comfortable, they participate more, retain more, and build confidence naturally.
Learning becomes something they look forward to, not something they avoid.
Beyond the classroom
This approach continues beyond regular lessons. Through shared experiences, learners use language actively, build confidence in real situations, and develop friendships.
It comes to life through our community and play groups, where learning extends into friendship and connection.
Our approach in practice
STRUCTURE AND CLARITy
Every lesson follows a clear, well-prepared structure so learners always know what to expect. Predictability builds confidence, especially for younger learners.
small groups, real attention
With a maximum of 4 learners per group, every student is seen, heard and supported throughout each lesson. No one gets lost.
Adapted to every learner
We adapt to each learner’s pace, age, and goals. Whether your child is just starting out at age 3 or an adult is preparing to relocate, every lesson is designed around them.
varied activities, sustained attention
We know that attention spans last around 15 minutes on a single task. That is why every lesson is built around a mix of activities: reading, listening, writing, grammar, vocabulary, games and more. Variety keeps learners engaged, motivated and enjoying every minute.
Joy
At Studyfreunde, language learning brings children and families together through play, creativity, and shared experiences that build confidence, connection, and curiosity. Children are encouraged to learn naturally, express themselves freely, and form meaningful connections in a warm and supportive environment. The best way to understand our approach is to experience it.
