German class times in Accra

German class times in Accra: when each age group meets at our centre in Airport West, and which times are free this month.

Groups at Studyfreunde are built by level, so you can see at a glance whether a time fits your week before you get in touch. Levels move on and new groups open, so the exact slots change during the year. The times below are the pattern each age group follows.

Class times

When our German groups meet

Every group has four learners at most and is built by level, so the timetable follows the learners rather than a fixed programme. Below is when each age group usually meets. If none of it fits your week, tell us the times that do and we open a group around them.

October 2026

We are closed on Fridays this month. Times that are free at the moment: Tuesday from 13:00, Wednesday from 14:00 and Thursday from 13:00.

Places change from month to month, so the quickest way to find your slot is to ask.

How our groups work

Every group has a maximum of four learners and every lesson is a full 60 minutes. That combination is the reason our timetable looks the way it does: a group only opens when there are people at the same level who can come at the same time, and it closes to new joiners once it is full. Most learners come once, twice or three times a week, which is what the three plans on the pricing and enrolment page cover.

Levels follow the usual European framework from A1 to C2. If you are not sure where you stand, you do not have to guess: we check it in the free trial lesson and tell you honestly which group you belong in.

If the level you need is not on the timetable

The empty slots between Tuesday and Friday are not closed time, they are open time. If your level is missing, or the group you want is already full, tell us which afternoons work for you and we open a new group when a second learner at the same level asks for the same slot. This happens regularly, so it is worth asking rather than waiting for something to appear here. Until a second learner joins, your lessons simply run as one to one tuition, at the same plan price.

Children, teenagers and adults are taught separately, because a nine year old and a working adult need very different lessons even at the same level. You can see how each is taught on the pages for German for Preschoolers, children and teenagers and adults.

Public holidays and how lessons are counted

We are closed on Ghanaian public holidays. The number of lessons in a month therefore varies: a month with five Saturdays gives five Saturday lessons, a month with four gives four. Over a year those extra weeks and the public holidays balance each other out, which is why the monthly fee stays the same instead of changing every month.

Questions about class times in Accra

Joining, missing a lesson and what happens on public holidays.

Yes. Learners join throughout the year, and the monthly fee is worked out proportionally if you start in the middle of a month.

Tell Vanessa which times would work. If a level is not running or a group is full, a new group opens on request, and one to one lessons cost the same per month as a place in a group.

Cancel by 6pm on the day before and you get a replacement lesson, subject to availability. After that a lesson cannot be replaced or refunded. If Studyfreunde cancels, you get a replacement lesson or your money back.

Studyfreunde is closed on Ghanaian public holidays. The monthly fee covers the lesson days that fall in that calendar month, so a month with five Saturdays has five lessons and a month with four has four.
